It's A Good Day

As I sit here with my baby asleep in his swing by me I know that I am the luckiest person alive.  There is nothing more wonderful than watching a sleeping baby and the quiet peaceful expressions on their face.

I'm lucky becauseI have a house, while not the most beautiful, it means that I will not have to move my family again.  It is a place to call my own and to improve upon.  It is a place to raise my children and enjoy our time as a family creating memorable experiences that will be treasured for a lifetime.

I'm lucky because I have three wonderful children who make me smile and bring a joy to my life that I could never begin to describe.  Karlie is so smart I can't believe the things she can do.  She is learning how to write her letters and read.  Yesterday I sat and did puzzles with the kids and was amazed at how fast Derek has picked up on putting them together.  He is such a funny boy.  This morning while eating his breakfast he told me in his best monster voice that he was Cookie Monster.  I'm not sure where he came up with that, but it certainly made me laugh.  And then there is my sweet baby Brayden.  Despite the cold he's been battling he's still so full of smiles.  He is my little sweetie. 

I'm lucky because I have the most wonderful husband who treats me like no one else ever has.  He is truly amazing to me.

There are so many other reasons that I could list, but to list them all now would take days.  So I'll leave it at that and go enjoy my kids.
