Oh, how can you not just want to eat such a cute face??? My cute little boy always makes me smile. Despite the trials of this last week this little boy just brings much needed joy and smiles to our home. He is getting so big! At 9 months he weighs about 24 pounds, pretty big boy if you ask me. But, he is always happy, he always has a smile on his face and makes everyone around him smile too. His blue eyes and fat baby cheeks just beg to be mushed and eaten, which I take the liberty of doing as often as possible! Brayden is starting to pull himself up to everything. He's gotten a little gutsy and even let go for a few seconds at a time to test the waters and see how strong his little legs are getting. He spits up a storm until it appears that he is "foaming at the mouth" as Howard puts it. He goes around telling everyone "hi," and says "dada" a lot. He doesn't want to say "mama" yet, which I don't think is fair, but I'm sure he will soon enough. I just think with all the works moms do to take care of them that it ought to be a requirement to say mom first! He definitely loves his new found mobility. Ever since he discovered crawling might not be so bad after all he just seems to be on the move constantly. He has the oddest sort of crawl though. He does this funny little side swing with one of his legs half of the time. Sometimes he crawls with his feet flat on the floor and his little butt up in the air. That always makes me laugh! With it still being so cold, especially at night the furnace is still running often. Brayden likes it when it's running when he is by the heat vents. He thinks the air blowing out of them is quite funny. He's even tried to catch it a couple of times. Silly boy!!! I just had to share with you how great I think he is. Maybe all his cute things will make you smile too!
